Entangled Forever

CHAPTER 4

Alice's POV

" What is happening to me?" I soliloqize using my thumb to press my temple.

I closed my eyes and sat on a nearest seat to rest but nothing change, it was getting worse as my whole body tingled all through. I wanted to call Jane to help but she is right here watching me with a smirk, cold shiver ran throw my spine and my heart started thumping in my chest.

"What is going on, why am I suddenly feeling weird? Did she do anything to the juice?" the thought of the possibilities increased my anxiety. I thought to run away as soon as possible.

I stumbled to the door but before my hand could reach the door handle she grabbed me from behind throwing me across the room. I rushed to my bag to get my phone and call Hazel but she was faster than me. She fling the bag to another side spreading out the contents in the process.

I tried to run to the door again but she caught me again this time smacking my dead with an object which I was so dizzy to recognize. I fell to the ground and tears clouded my eyes, I knew that something was amiss when she was nice to me all of a sudden.

When Hazel and I moved here Jane was already working here, we almost become friends but all of a sudden she changed from the friendly girl that showed us around to another person I could not describe. She started getting angry over insignificant things, like when madam Nancy gives me special treatment for job well done, when customers gives me big tips or when customers praise my professionalism. I didn't know what do to appease her so I kept my distance and it has been like that since then.

" Please let me go." I couldn't stop the pleas from escaping my mouth, I feel helpless now and I'm afraid of what she is planning to do with me.

" Don't worry you are not going to die, I will just get what I want and let you go. When the rich young master Mike sees the video he will have a rethink about you slut." Jane said and laughed maniacally.

" What are you going to do to me, please let me go. I haven't done anything wrong to you so please let me go." I sobbed withdrawing back from her until my back hit the wall. Her face was a little blurred but I could still recognize the smirk that hung on her face like she is mocking my state.

" Are you sure that you did nothing wrong to me?" she asked mockly and I nodded my head profusely. As far as I can remember I didn't do anything to her. I have been a avoiding having any encounter with her since I noticed she suddenly don't like me so there is no way I could have done anything wrong to her.

" You are a nice actress, I think you should start a career in acting. You look so innocent but deep inside you are a slut. What did you do to young master Mike to get him to suddenly be in love with you!" she screamed making me to cover my ears, she has such a high pitch voice.

" I don't know what you are talking about, please let me go. " I can't even connect anything she is saying. Young master Mike do like me but he is just generally a nice person. He just treats me like an attendant who does her works well.

" It's really obvious you don't know what I'm talking about. " she replied sarcastically. " All the men that had taken interest on me end up liking you instead and abandoning me, will you still say you don't know that? I don't wish to waste my energy on you, I just need to get what I want and that's all. I mean no harm honey." she

" Jane I don't know what you are doing to me but do you think that you can go scot free after? I can report you to the cops. " all my resort has been broken at this point so I tried to use threats to scare her but instead she laughed out loud like I just made some lame jokes.

" Who would believe you over me? Don't worry you will be paid and I don't think anyone would believe that you wouldn't do that for that amount of money. You are a poor rat and people like you do anything for money so it would be believable that you wanted to frame me. " she continued laughing and cold shiver ran down my spine.

She is right who wouldn't believe that I slut around for money after all that is what most poor orphans like me are known to make their living from. It would be easier to believe that I just wanted to frame her than the other way round. I don't even have anyone to back me up nor enough money to pursue the case. Hazel and I are merely managing to feed so how am I supposed to get the money to sue her or take on the case.

Tears clouded my eyes as continued to beg her.

Before long the door opened and two pairs of legs entered, I can't make out their faces but I'm sure they were men and my fear was confirmed when they talked.

" Jane please don't do this to me." I sobbed as I curl up to myself, I can not run again from them so I can only hope that they have mercy on me and let me go. They totally ignored me as they talked, I can't hear what they are saying because they lowered their voice.

When they are done talking, the two men grabbed me on both sides and no matter how hard I struggled they held me tight.

" Jane please don't do this to me, I beg you please!" I cried and trashed as they dragged me.

" Don't worry you will enjoy it too. Just be a good girl and do what your body wants you to do." Jane mocked as they dragged me away while I continued begging.

They throw me into car but I guess it's the boat because I felt no seat and I could not get up from my lying position. The car drove away and after few minutes it came to a halt, they dragged me out of the car and entered a building through the back door. We climbed stairs for a while before we entered a hallway but while they were opening a door, a sudden surge of energy entered me and I ran.

They chased after me as I ran with everything I have and luckily I saw an elevator, without thinking twice I ran inside it hurriedly pressing multiple buttons. They nearly caught up with me but the elevator closed, I don't even know where I was going to but that was better than those men catching me. I arrived at a similar floor like the one I ran from but a bit more furnished, I was confused on which way to follow and while I still thinking of which way to go through the next elevator arrived and the two men exited.

They chased after me and I ran, I have no idea where I am or how I'm going to escape the men chasing me. Luckily for me I found a door, I didn't think twice before banging on the door.
