Alice's POV
We rushed to the kitchen and everywhere was full of smoke. Maybe, it's because of the discussion that I had with Kelvin that made me forget that the gas has been on. I hate wasting food because I know what I went through being an orphan, having nobody to care for you and tend to your wounds. It was really horrible. Thinking about what Kelvin said I think I'll prefer being an orphan to having a mother like his because when you have a figure there who is supposed to shower you with love it's different. Expections will come and the cravings for love but Kelvin did not get any of that love being born in a family where almost you do is dictated must be really difficult for him. I sighed and shook my head.
