Alice's POV
I woke up to a burning sensation in my face, my mouth and my throat were so dry that breathing even hurts like hell. I tried to clear my throats but regretted it immediately, I nearly screamed in pains due to the burning sensation following the movement. I tried opening my eyes but only the right eye opened, they were both heavy but the left eye was many times heavier than the right one and no matter how hard I try to open it I can't.
I was alarmed and immediately my hand flew to my face, I was met with a bandage. The left eye was bandaged and thus why I can't open it. I was already panicking and immediately started pulling the bandage away but I hand caught mine midway stopping me in my tracks.
