My mind was immediately at ease the moment my eyes caught her seated at one corner of the restaurant, I instantly took a deep breath realizing that I have been holding my breath all my way to here.
" Kelvin!" she cried and ran into my hands, I held her tight to my chest with shaky hands. I thought I may not see her here so it's a huge relief knowing that she is actually safe.
" Kelvin what is going on? Why did you sound like that over the phone?" she asked staring at my face.
" It's nothing serious, let's go home." I told her. I cannot make her freak out more than she already is.
