Chapter 6

I tried to look for the creature in the library, but it was not going well. I've looked through all kinds of books, but found nothing. It's really hard, I don't know anything about that creature. I don't know the name, so it's harder to look for it.

My last hope was the internet. I tried to look for it by different names, like 'Lizard-like rare creatures', kinda describing the creature. It showed me a lot of other creatures, but not the one I was looking for. None were even close to look like that creature. I sighed in defeat. This is impossible. I'll never find it. "Screw this" I muttered as I stood up and made my way out of the library. It was already lunchtime, and I was getting hungry. Besides, maybe Scott and Stiles found out something about the unknown creature....

''Scott, for the last time, stop worrying so much about it'' the voice from Stiles lead me to their table.

''Oh, hi Penny'' he said as I sat down next to Scott.

I smiled at the both of them. ''Hey guys. Whatcha talking about?''

''Scott being worried about Gerard''

I groaned as I rolled my eyes. Yeah, it's true. Ever since Gerard became the new principal Scott's been worried sick about what he could do. ''Again, Scott? Is that the only thing you worry about?''

He shook his head. ''I'm also worrying about that creature we saw at Isaac's. What if it shows up again?"

''What was that thing, anyway?'' Stiles said.

''I don't know. But, can you imagine what could've happened if that thing attacked Penny?'' Scott said.

''No''

''Well, me neither'' he said. ''We have to find out what that is''

Stiles and I nodded. ''I've been doing a little research,'' I said, after a very short silence. "Tried to find out something about the creature"

"Well, did you?" Stiles asked.

"No. But I'll keep looking"

"Right," Scott said. "I think we should all look"

Once again, Stiles and I nodded in agreement.

"So, changing the subject, how's Erica doing?" I asked.

''She's fine, I think'' Scott replied.

Wondering what happened to Erica Reyes? Well, for some reason, while we were at Chemistry class, she scaled the wall from gym class, again, and fell due to an epileptic seizure. Thankfully, Scott catched her in time. He just said that he felt it was going to happen. It was weird, but at the same time it was luck. I didn't want to imagine what would've happened if Scott didn't show up.

I nodded. ''That's good. Poor girl, I always felt bad about her''

''Yeah, me too'' Scott and Stiles said at the same time.

Suddenly the doors were loudly opened, catching everyone's eye. A girl that I didn't recognize entered thinking that she was sexiest girl in the world. I was sure that the three of us were staring at her in confusion. I mean, I've never seen her around here before. Yet, at the same time she looked so familiar to me. She looked so alike from...

Lydia stood between Scott and Stiles, staring at the girl in shock. "What. the hell. is that?"

''I think... I think that's Erica'' Scott answered for me.

''What happened to her?'' I said.

''I have no idea. But she looks.... hot" Stiles said.

She looked so different than before. No acne. No bloating. Nothing. Just a beautiful girl that was making every guy drool as she walked by.

Once our table caught her eye, she looked directly at me, giving me a sweet smile then walking away. I think that was her thanking me from calling an ambulance for her. We all watched her as she went out of sight. Lydia was glaring at her, Scott and Stiles had shocked expressions, I just had a confused look. ''Wow'' Stiles said.

"Don't you think It's a bit weird that she changed all of a sudden?" Scott said.

"Really weird" I said.

"Weirdly awesome!" Stiles added.

''I'll be right back'' Scott muttered, standing up and walking away.

I rolled my eyes. Typical. He wants to know what happened to Erica. He has to stop worrying so much. ''Penny, we seriously need to go shopping after school'' Lydia said leaving.

I looked at Stiles. He just shrugged. ''I still think Lydia's hotter''

"Of course you do"

Then, the doors opened, again, just to reveal Allison rushing towards us. She also looked a bit shocked about something. "Did you guys see-"

"Erica Reyes?," I finished for her, and she nodded. "Yeah, we saw her"

"She looks so different!"

"Yeah," I said. "I guess we don't have to feel bad about her anymore"
