"Just let me help him!" Melissa begged, Matt pushing her to the jail cell.
"You stay right here!" He said, locking Melissa and I in the cell.
"Please," Melissa begged once more, her voice shaky. "I just wanna help my son!"
"You'll have time for that later," Matt said, taking a few steps back from us. I wrapped an arm around Melissa whilst she cried on my shoulder. "All I need is the bestiary"

He shook his head, grabbing the hem of his shirt. "You're wrong, Penny. It is important to me. I need to know EVERYTHING about the Kanima!" with every word he said, he pulled up his shirt higher. Until I could finally see that he was beginning to transform into some sort of creature.
