The ringing of the alarm woke Ryan from a hell of a dream about Bella. She was wrapped around him, her wet, warm body drawing him in deeper and deeper until he felt like he was a part of her.
But the damn alarm interrupted him before he got to the good stuff. Which meant he was rushing from the bunks to pull on his turnout gear with a hard-on that wasn’t willing to go away.
Thankfully, the only other guy in the fire station wasn’t paying any attention, trying to get himself into his gear without falling over. It had only been an hour since they got back from the last call. Reggie didn’t want to go home in the middle of the night and risk waking his kids, so he crashed at the fire station with Ryan.
They jumped in the truck and headed out, keeping the siren off so they didn’t wake up
