19 Bella looked at her phone when it rang and tilted her head. She didn’t know anyone who called her. All her friends texted, not that she’d heard from them either. She didn’t recognize the number, but it was a local number, so she answered it. “Hello?” “Is this Bella?” “Um, yes.” “Good. You’re coming to lunch today.” “I’m sorry, who is this?” Bella asked. She knew the voice was familiar, but she couldn’t place it. “Just be at The Drunken Grape at eleven, Bella. I think you know where that is?” “Yeah, um, yes. I…I do.” “Good. I’ll see you then.
