Coldren rolls up in his car at Cookie's place, breathing in deeply behind the wheel. He looks into the rear view mirror to see if he looks fine and even precedes to check his teeth, just in case.
He doesn't know why he's so nervous. It's just the way Cookie texted him back seemed a little odd, or maybe it's just his imagination. He reaches to the back seat and grabs the chicken soup that his mom has made on demand.
"Perfect" he whispers while he shows his striking pearl teeth with a smile.
He steps out of his car and walks to the Dendard's door, knocking on it with enthusiasm.
His smile fades as Mrs. Dendard opens the door at first with a grin but then with an agitated frown.
