The mermen are almost ready to give up. Captain Samuel still has Acrilla as a hostage, and he has crew members carry her upstairs. Others carry Donnie and Aqua. Their lack of energy from dehydration is preventing them from being able to try to escape. The other fishermen threaten the mermen with their sharp weapons as they follow Captain Samuel.
