The triplets

1000 Words
Lisa walked inside her house, feeling a bit groggy and tired. The day's work had been toiling on her. Her maid, Freya, brought her water. Lisa drank the water as if her whole life depended on it. She tilted her head back and finished it in one gulp. One of the doors downstairs opened, and an inconspicuous head popped in. "Mom," the childish voice shouted. The figure fully appeared as he rushed towards Lisa. It was a six-year-old boy, very handsome with strong features, even as a child. His name is Travis, one of Lisa's triplets. He hugged Lisa warmly. Lisa held him in her hand and then asked, "Where are your sisters, Travis? I hope you haven't been bullying them." "No, Mom, those two have been bullying me for hours," Travis protested. The room upstairs opened as two girls ran downstairs shouting, "Mom! Mom." Lisa smiled upon seeing them. They hugged her. "Mom, Travis has been bullying us whenever you're not around," one of the girls, Stacy, complained. She is very beautiful with blonde hair, a cute chubby face, and black eyes. The other triplet nodded in agreement. Her name is Sofia, and she resembled her sister with blonde hair. The only difference is her deep blue eyes, like the moon in the sky. Lisa laughed and hugged them; they were her only source of happiness. Lisa had let go of her very unpleasant past and embraced her future. As an orphan, she was deeply ostracized in the pack. However, when she met Williams, the son of the current Alpha, they fell in love. Or maybe that was what she used to feel until one day, she became pregnant by him. When she informed Williams, he bluntly denied the child and also denied her. Lisa couldn't take it anymore. She had been withstanding criticism and humiliation in the pack because she was an orphan with no backing. Now, even the man she loved had rejected her. Filled with sorrow and pain, Lisa decided to turn her back on her pack and start a new life. She left Oslon city and came to the little town of Nothanor to start a new life and escape from her very unpleasant past. She had the triplets in Nothanor, and that was when she had the highest joy in her heart. They were like the first sunrise after a heavy downpour. They gave her the will to live and persevere, and her life brightened. She looked at her children with love. Travis was about to protest, but Lisa waved her hand at him. "Hush now, Travis. You siblings shouldn't be fighting among yourselves. Travis, stop bullying your sisters, and you girls should not bully Travis again." "Yes, Mom," the trio answered in unison. Lisa smiled cheerfully and patted their heads. She pulled out a package from her bag and gave it to the triplets. The children shrieked with joy and hugged their mom. "We love you, Mom!" they shouted in unison and ran upstairs. Lisa smiled, with a pleasant feeling welling up in her heart. The maid came to take back the cup of water. "Seems like you've been having a tough time, ma," the maid said. Lisa smiled and yawned. "Who wouldn't, after all the work and toil," she said as she stretched herself. Lisa had a good relationship with her maid, Aria, and they could discuss things as equals. "Actually, you can lessen your pain if you accept Young Master Philip's request," Aria said, looking at her cautiously. Lisa gave her a look. Aria just bent her head, knowing she had crossed her boundary. But come to think of it, Young Master Philip is very young, handsome, and rich. What else can a girl ask for? But it seems like her madam didn't agree with her. Lisa just chuckled. Young Master Philip, that sick, pant young master. There is no way she is going to get involved with the likes of him. Philip is the son of the owner of "Dream Mall," which also happens to be where she works. Philip returned from Merika and hasn't been living in the Heaven states. Ever since he saw Lisa on his return to the country, he has been pestering her unceasingly. To other girls, Young Master Philip is their dream man, but to Lisa, Young Master Philip is just a sick pant young master. He couldn't even compare to Williams. Lisa went upstairs to freshen up. After she was done, she went into the kitchen to prepare dinner. Normally, Aria would prepare breakfast and lunch. But Lisa always prepared breakfast by herself. At least, that was the least she could do for her children, even as a busy woman. "Breakfast is done," Lisa shouted. The children all jumped out of their rooms with joy and rushed into the dining room. Lisa served the dishes, and they all gathered like one big happy family, even though they couldn't be considered big. "Mum, Travis beat up one of our classmates today," Sofia said to their mom. Stacy seemed to be giving her a sign, but the innocent Sofia didn't understand. Among the trio, she is the most innocent. Lisa had warned them never to fight with their classmates. They were to report if any one of them did so. Lisa turned to Travis, giving him an admonishing look. "Why did you fight in school, Travis?" she asked. "He pushed Stacy," Lisa nodded in understanding. She knew Travis well. Like his father, Williams, he is not one to let things go, especially if he is in the right. It wasn't strange that he started a fight. She held him lovingly, "But it's not a good enough reason to fight in school. You could have reported to your teacher, and he would have gotten punished. Remember, good children don't fight; they just report to a higher authority." Travis bowed his head lower, "Yes, Mom," he mumbled. Lisa smiled and nodded her head. The family continued their dinner.
