The annoying wolf

1070 Words
Lisa held a shopping basket as she walked through the shopping mall. A small kid dropped a tomato can, Lisa matched it by mistake and was about to fall when a very strong hand held her. Lisa looked up to see her benefactor and was pleasantly surprised; the man is quite handsome with very strong features. He had a wide grin on his mouth. "Miss, it couldn't be that you purposely fell on me," noticing that Lisa was still looking at him intensely, he gave a smug smile. "I know that I'm very handsome, but you shouldn't be deliberately looking at me like that; it's embarrassing." Lisa immediately came back to herself and pulled herself away from the man. She blushed furiously, blaming herself for admiring the man's features openly without any reservation. It's quite unlike her. The man looked at Lisa and said, "You know you can still admire me more if you want; I don't mind." "Shameless, this man is absolutely shameless," Lisa said to herself as she hurried away from the mall. Outside the mall, the weather had changed, and it looked like it was going to rain. Lisa didn't bring her car along, and the weather sure looked promising. "Looks like it's really going to rain," Lisa thought to herself as she started walking faster. She had barely walked ten feet before the rain started falling. "Oh no, not now," Lisa grumbled as she looked for a place to shield herself. A car pulled close by, the window pulled down, and a face popped out; there was a grin on the face. It was the man she met at the mall. "What's this? Oh, looks like a damsel in distress; it seems like somebody needs help," he said, grinning at Lisa. "Go away!" Lisa shouted, looking irritated. She walked faster. The car followed her and pulled close again. "Damsel, I'm sure you wouldn't want to be drenched in that rain. Come inside the car, and I will drop you; there's no good place to shelter yourself here." Lisa paused on hearing his words. He is right about one thing; there's no close shade around, and besides, she didn't really want to be soaked by this rain that looks like it will still rain heavily. She wordlessly pulled the car door and entered inside the car. The man gave a triumphant smile as he restarted the engine, and the car drove out to the road. Lisa looked at him once again. "Werewolf," she thought to herself. She had felt a familiar feeling from this man before, but had been so flustered then to even care about it. But now that she is close to him and with a much calmer mind, she was able to sense it. So he is a werewolf, and by the look of it, a Beta. He must have probably known that she is a werewolf. She swallowed. Maybe she shouldn't have entered this car. The man looked at her with a funny look. "Come on, off with that look; you look like you just swallowed a fly," he commented. Lisa gave him a stare. This i***t is really very frustrating. "I am Andrew, what's your name?" he introduced himself. "Lisa," she said, looking straight ahead without even looking at him. After a pause, she turned and said to him, "You are a werewolf." Andrew didn't look surprised; instead, he grinned. "Just found out now; it isn't surprising, though, since you have been busy idolizing me, hehe!" "Go away; who is idolizing you?" Lisa shouted. Will this man ever stop spouting nonsense, Lisa couldn't help but wonder. "Haha!" Andrew laughed, tilting his head back. He looked at the pouting Lisa and commented. "You look very cute with that pouting face; it's very admirable." Lisa couldn't help but blush fiercely. What a sweet talker, she thought. But she is still worried about Andrew's identity and immediately comported herself. Turning to Andrew, she asked, "Where are you from?" "You mean my pack?" Andrew kept his face to the traffic; the road looked a little cramped up, and he couldn't risk fully engaging Lisa. "Yes," Lisa answered. "Well, about that, I have no pack and could be considered a rogue wolf, though I am a good one," he added as he stole a glance at Lisa. Rogue wolves are mostly wolves banned for committing crimes and breaking rules in the pack; some wolves could still decide to be rogue wolves by themselves, while others may be born as rogues. Maybe their parents are rogue wolves, but the main concept is that rogue wolves could be generally considered as wolves without a pack. Due to the lack of rules, they are generally bad and always commit crimes, but still, Lisa isn't stupid to think that all rogue wolves are bad. Some became rogues because of circumstances, just like her. Lisa nodded coolly. "What about you? What pack are you from?" Andrew returned her question directly. Lisa glared at him but still answered. "I used to be from a pack, but now I can be considered a rogue wolf." There was pain in her eyes. Andrew saw it cautiously and asked, "Were you banned?" "No, I left the pack by myself," she answered absentmindedly. Andrew wondered what could have made her leave her pack. He decided to change the topic. "Whatever, it doesn't matter. You look very beautiful, and I can say that I am very captivated by your charm. I wonder if you are single," he started flirting. "Hmph!" She hummed as she looked at him in disdain. "No, but I'm a mother," Lisa replied nonchalantly. "No way, you can't be possibly pulling my leg, right?" Andrew refused to believe that was true. Lisa looked at him like a frog in the well and commented, "They are triplets." It seemed like she didn't even care one bit for his feelings. Andrew thought for a while before saying, "Well, it doesn't actually matter, though; after all, you're still young and beautiful." "What is this one saying," she thought to herself. "Drop me at the 5th Avenue, you fool," she shouted at him. Andrew gave her a look of being wronged and parked the car. She immediately alighted. "Can I follow you?" Andrew shouted. "No!" Lisa replied. "Your contact?" he persisted. Lisa glared at him, and he immediately drove off. Lisa laughed to herself. This man is sure interesting.
