The Kidnap

"Wake up, sleepyhead," she said, gently pushing his head. Sofia was the first to get up from bed. She looked at her mom and whined, "But mommy, today is not school. Today is Saturday." Stacy nodded; she had just woken up. As for Travis, he simply went back to sleep. "You girls should come and bathe. We are going shopping today. Leave Travis; he can stay at home all by himself," Lisa said, looking smug. She knew that Travis would wake up at the mention of shopping. "Really!" Travis jumped from the bed, then all of a sudden, he had a look as if he had been deceived. "Mom, you are lying. Today is Saturday, and you are going to work." The girls looked like they had recalled something and shot their mom a knowing look. "Well, today I am skipping work to be with you guys," she said, giving them a bright smile. The kids were delighted. "Mom, you are the best!" they shouted, hugging her tightly. Lisa laughed with her children. They were really a happy family, if only Williams were here. That scoundrel should go and rot in hell for all she cares. She bathed the children, and Aria helped her prepare breakfast. Soon, they came to the dining table and had their breakfast. Once breakfast was over, they ran outside toward their mom's Corolla. Lisa opened the car as the children filed in. They were clearly in a good mood today. Aria also brought their water bottles along. She entered the back seat with the girls, while Travis sat in the front with their mom. He always liked staying in the front. Lisa drove out to the road. After twenty-five minutes, they arrived at Uncle Luo's clothing store. She had decided to get them some clothes first. The girls were especially excited. Girls always liked new clothes, including the little ones. The girls were very enthusiastic as they rushed to select their clothes. Lisa helped them select good ones. When they were done with their shopping, they entered the car and drove off. They drove for ten more minutes before reaching a mall. It wasn't the same mall where Lisa worked; instead, it was a different one called Starmall. They alighted from the car. Inside the mall, they all went shopping, starting from groceries to snacks like chocolates and cakes. Once done, Lisa decided to take them to the amusement park, where they also had fun to their hearts' content. At last, she decided to take them to a restaurant for a meal. While eating, Travis turned to her and said in a very displeased voice, "Mom, I want seafood." Lisa felt a headache; she thought to herself, "You know, sweetheart, it takes time to get seafood ready, and we don't have time." This was exactly why she cursed earlier. Normally, the queue for seafood was always very long, and it wouldn't be easy to grab even a plate, especially since it was getting late. Travis gave an unsatisfied look; he clearly didn't agree with her reason. Lisa couldn't bear to let her children down. Standing up, she grabbed an empty plate from the table. "I will get it for you, sweetheart," she said, determined to satisfy her children, even if it's only for today. "Aria, take care of the children," she added as she walked toward the kitchen area of the restaurant, where seafood was ordered. Reaching there, she could see that the queue seemed quite long, as expected, but she didn't make a fuss and just waited in line. After waiting for ten minutes, it was her turn to be served, but an odd-looking middle-aged man overtook her. "What the hell," Lisa was infuriated. Werewolves are not known for having a good temper; in short, they were known for their extremely hot temper. Lisa wanted to snap at the man, but she remembered that her kids were still waiting for her. If she started quarreling with the man, the staff might just skip both of them and continue serving the other customers. But regardless, she decided to wait; the middle-aged man looked like he was a little bit disappointed that she didn't pursue the matter. Once she was served, Lisa rushed back to the reception room. But she was surprised to see the table empty. Immediately, she had a bad feeling as she recalled the bad dream she had last night, which she couldn't recall, and the odd man just now. She ran outside in a rush and, in time, saw the security rushing towards a place. She moved closer to find out, to her utmost despair, Aria's lifeless body. She couldn't believe it. She turned to the security, demanding an answer, but then Aria opened her eyes and shouted to Lisa using all her strength, "They have not gone far; they have the children. Please save them! Their car is a black SUV with the plate number 4****." Lisa felt like a heavy boulder had just fallen on her heart, crushing her soul. She couldn't think straight and jumped inside her Corolla, which was nearby, and sped off. The Corolla rushed down the road like a mad bull, and even the security personnel that tried to stop her all cleared from the road. Lisa gave chase, her heart set on the car's plate number and color. Looking down the road, she saw a black SUV with the same plate number. This was no coincidence, and she gave chase without thinking. The car's occupants seemed to have noticed, as the car accelerated, giving more speed as it sped off. But Lisa wouldn't give up. She chased after the kidnappers. They soon reached a traffic light. The light was in the red area, but both cars didn't even pause and zoomed out. Yet, surprisingly, the road police crossed the road, blocking Lisa but letting the SUV go. Lisa knew this was the final preparation by their enemy. They had outwitted her. Hi guys hope you are enjoying it. please help the author with your votes thank you.
