"I have a question miss."Tabitha asked with a raised hands.

"Ask your QUESTions TAbiTHA".She said pouring spits unintentionally to her face.

That's the other reason.

Never mind,I think I understood the topic well.Tabitha said.

Okay!The teacher said taking walking to the white board.

Daniella Rodríguez of grade 12 your attention is needed in the office.

"Well,I guess I have to excuse you".She said and I left the class.

I walked into the quiet place of the hallway as a lot of questions were in my head''Did I do something wrong"

I knocked briefly before entering inside.The principal office was well air-conditioned with the school logo that was displayed on the wall.

"Have a seat Daniella". She gestured me.

"Thanks...I look at the plate that was near her desk.

"... Principal Hudgins" I quickly said.

"I'm sure you are wondering why I called you". She said.

"I will go straight to the point...I have seen your previous record and you are so far one of the bright students I have seen".

"Thank you". I answered curtly.

"They are a lot of activities that is happening this session and I want you to participate in a competition that is going to be holding up".

"A competition". I asked.

"Yes,do you have any problem with what I just said".

"There's no problem principal".I said.

"I knew I could rely on you...don't worry the competition is still far but I just wanted to inform you ahead of time. I will put in a good word to any college of your choice".

"Are you serious". I asked with wide eyes.

"Of course,just a few phone calls should do the trick,you may now go".

I gently left the principal office with a squel. I didn't really wanted to participate but at least,the bright side is that I can go to any college of my choice. I have a lot of options in my mind but I haven't decided yet.

Grrrrrrrrrng!And that's the bell for closing time.

"Do you have any of your meetings after school".Emily asked.

"Yes,I do..."

"Okay but you haven't told me the name of your club."

"I will give you a hint...it's a mystery". I said.

"You mean the mystery solvers club". She said whispering in my ears.

"Yes,but why are you whispering". I confusingly asked

"Because I heard that it's very hard to be a member of the club and moreover the leader is very strict".

"Strict"!

"Yes...and also mean"

"Oh,I'm not really a member yet".

"What is the hold up?

"They are testing me before I become a member". I mean I didn't lie right!

"You better tell me everything about it..."her voice was interrupted by the leader of the drama club,Dale.

"What are you doing here,we need you for your role remember". He said.

"See you at the party tonight".She whispered in my ears before walking out with Dale.

I went to the janitor closet,not before cautiously checking if anyone would follow me. But it's not like they will follow me because this place was like the abandoned part of the school and I'm sure that no one has ever come across this place. I entered inside and press a button and like that the place changed automatically.

I casually entered inside to meet only Peter and Linda inside.

"Marcus isn't here yet".

"As you can see...maybe you need a new pair". Linda said facing her laptop.

"Don't mind her,what she's meant to say is that Marcus still has work to do but he would soon be here".

"What about Mia"? I asked.

"She's supposed to be here ten minutes ago". Peter said glancing at the wall clock.

"She's busy"!

"She told you". Peter asked.

"No, but I just guessed".Linda said.

"Anyways,what's the new update about the operation I.C.P. Peter asked.Not to be rude but the name kinda sucks". Linda said.

That was Marcus ideas,anyway the new update is that

...There's a party tonight in which we are all attending.Marcus said casually walking inside.

"Oh,so how do we go about it".Linda asked popping her gum.

So I have carefully gone through the plan and I must say,its not easier but we will make this work.

"How then". I curiously asked.

"This pool party commence at ten so before then you make up an excuse at a point,if your excuse becomes to suspicious or obvious you might be in a house arrest;Street name grounded".

"I will stay at Emily side tonight...good thing that I told my mom already...so what's the next step".

Next step,is to gather everyone's attention.

Trust me,her going there is going to gather a lot of people's attention. Linda said plainly.

"You don't have to be rude". Peter said.

"Anyway,the next step is going in search of him,your are not going to make it to obvious but just be all natural".

"I'm sorry for coming late".Mia said panting.

"What were you doing this time around...counting the stars".Linda said in sacarasm.

"There was a family emergency,I'm sorry Marcus,hope I'm not late".

"Yes you are you missed a lot of things,in which of them will fill you up later".

"So just to be clear,are you guys also attending the party". I asked.

"Of course durrh!We may solve mysteries but we never miss out an adventure".Mia said grinning.

"You guys can leave early".

"Thank goodness I was already tired". Linda said before Peter followed suit.

"See ya later Daniella". Mia said waving at me.

I looked at Marcus but he was seriously typing on his keyboard.

"I guess I gotta go to,see you later Marcus..."

"Wait,actually I got something for you...it's on the table". He said his eyes still fixed on the computer.

I walked to the table where a small package was lying in front of me. I slowly opened it to see...

An earpod? I asked confusingly.

"It will enable me to talk to you and also listen to you".

"So you're gonna eavesdrop on our conversation". I asked.

"Definitely,you need to be helped...just incase".

He finally stopped what he was doing and came closer to me.

So...can you wear this on?

I tried putting it on but it was a struggle. I can clearly see Marcus being amused as he enjoys seeing me in this state.

You are wearing it the wrong way. He said as he started helping me.We were facing each other as his face was so focused on wearing the eadpod on me. He is so close to me as I could feel my heart racing.I'm definately getting another panic attack?

"And that's it.

"Huh"

"Don't tell me you weren't paying attention to what I was saying". He face palmed.

"I was... you said something about uhh.... the earpods...yes the airport".

Marcus just gave me a confused look before going back to his computer.

"So...are we going together". I asked.

"No...I will see you there,another reasons why I gave you the earpod".

"I see,see you later iceman". I said walking out.

Marcus pov

"See you later...and she's gone. I have been so busy this few weeks because I have been secretly investigating some things that have happening. This is so frustrating cause I'm not getting any clue so far.

My mind went off to the earpod.Did she like it? It was actually one of my customize earpod that I made and giving her wasn't a problem...but,it might be a problem for Peter amd probably the rest because he begged me for this one.

I need to stay up a little before going home.

My phone buzzed constantly,I checked the ID to see Mrs Emily.

I placed the phone close to my ears.Good evening Mrs Emily

Good evening Marcus.My mouth curved into a small smile as a looked at the phone.

It's not ava brother...dang it! A mischievous voice said.

What are you calling with her phone.

She wasn't around and I was bored and i decided to call you.She said in a sheepish tone.

I hold the bridge on my nose.That's fair...what about avery and asha.

They are doing they homework as usual.She said and continued...when are you coming back brother?

Now sis,see ya in the next twenty minutes I said rounding up with everything I was doing.

Better be coming brother. She said before the call ended.

I'm back. I said as I opened the door.

"Welcome back brother".Avery said as she opened the door.

"You took so long brother".

"It was probably the bus that made me late.I said as I gently kept my shoes in the shoe rack".

"That's why you need mom to buy you a car".Asha said from the kitchen.

No thanks! The last thing I need is to make my self a burden to her...have you guys eaten.I looked at them.

"Yes brother"! The triplets replied.

"Ok,I wouldn't be around this night so incase Mrs Emily comes back tell her I went out on a school project".

"Avery looked at me for a while". It seems she was trying to detect any traces of lies.

"Fine,I'm going for a party this night..."

"I knew you were lying".Avery said with a sly smile.

"Is it your girlfriend you are seeing".Asha ask curiously.

"No,let's just say is like a school function...so you know what to do right".I looked at all of them.

"Yes brother"they all replied simultaneously.

I looked at their silly tactics and smiled.Truly this girls are amazing but they can be troublesome...most of the time,especially,Ava.

"Mom wouldn't be around till tomorrow".Asha said.

That means,I can still dress in my room. I took the essential things I needed before heading to Austin house.

Emily House.

I was currently in Emily house. I already lied to mom that I would be staying at Emily House because of some test that would be coming up,and my mom didn't raise an eyebrow because she knew how much I value my test. As for my brother,he was already used to going out in Mexico so maybe he will sneak out or give her the usual routine of lie.

"Daniella! Emily said waving the clothes in my face.

"You want me to choose". I said.

"Yes"! Emily said desperately.

Ok let me see them.

Ok,my first option is this cute white gown that comes with a beach hat and my second option is this white croptop and this white bum shot with the beach hat.

I looked at the dress for a while. "I think the first option is pretty".

"Thank you,do you need help too".Emily said peering at me.

Yes in the hair aspect,I said going to her closet to change. I wore a floral jumpsuit with a wedge sandals.

"How do I look". I said coming out from her closet.

"Omg mirabela,you look pretty...have a seat let me style your hair". She said pointing to her dressing table.I sat down as she let down my hair.

Emily touched my hair before pouting.I really love your hair texture;it is so bouncy and thick unlike mine.

"Thanks Emily"I said chuckling.

Emily parted my hair into two before using her curling iron to make my hair to have wavy curls.

"So do you.like it"!

I looked at the mirror in front of me"Are you kidding of course I love it! I said gushing at my new hair.

"It's time for your face next" she said.

"My what now..."

Face she replied as she begin dabbing my face with a light powder.She neatly draw my already dark eyebrows and also applied lip gloss in my lips.

I'm done! She said as she stood behind me grinning ear to ear.

I look at my reflection and smiled. Truly I was pretty.

"Thanks Emily". I said smiling.

"Any time kiddo...so what about your bikini". She said packing her own.

Bikini?

"She stopped what she was doing and came closer...You are joking right"? She said with a frown.

"Uhm... I didn't pack any bikini cause I can't swim".

"Who says anything about swimming...you can relax in the lounge when we are busy enjoying the time of our lives".She said winking as she continued packing.

"What am I..."

"Don't worry...I got extras"

"Can I at least see them"?

"No,it will be a suprise".

"Not even a clue". I pleaded.

As I said before its a suprise...let's go Emily said wearing her sunglasses and sea shell. Are you sure you don't want some sunglasses.

"Before we go,I need to say this...this party is wider than you think...and yes everyone I mean everybody is going to be there even the howlers..."she said my mind.

My mind went blank.

Everyone...wild ...the howlers that means becca is going to be there definitely. I felt a pit at the bottom of my stomach.

She patted my shoulders. Dont worry you will be okay,let's go... we went to the garage were different brands of car were packed there. I forgot to mention that Emily has money.

"So what car should I use".

"Uhm...I think the white one is preferable".

Emily squinted her face." Nope,I used this sometime ago".

"Is she kidding me! If I have this kind of car,I'm driving it everyday to school although I can't drive".

"Emily...no one will consider besides the party has white theme there so..."

"Emily pondered for a while before responding. Ok,it's fine I guess."

"It's your butler driving us". I asked

"No,it's me baby". She winked entering the drivers seat.

"Please tell me you can drive...cause I haven't seen you drive to school before".

"Uhm...if you count hitting five cone and changing different driving instructors...then I'm good to go".

Gawd please help me...I don't wanna die.
