“You b***h!” David called out even as he fell on the pavement.
The nurse that had appeared in Pierre’s room was looking at David as if he was a gnat she could crush under her feet any given moment. Rose watched wide eyed wondering where she had materialized from.
She had not seen the woman since that day and even as she left. she did not introduce herself or who she was.
“Did you have to do that?” Rose asked feeling sorry for David. Even though she felt disgusted by his behavior, he was just a puppet in the hands of people like her cousin Sharon and Isabela. She actually felt pity on him; he was getting the raw end of the deal from people who were protecting her. First it was Joseph who broke his leg and now this crazy nurse seemed to have broken his nose.
