Chapter 14

Walang matinong tulog o kain si Aiden dahil sa nangyari matapos ang operasyon ay pinilit parin niyang siya ang mag bantay sa nobya, it was an exhausting and terrifying twelve hours of his life being in the situation of saving someone so precious to him. Inangat niya ang kamay upang haplusin ang mukha ng dalaga, may galos ang mukha nito ngunit hindi na bawasan ang kanyang ganda, the investigation is on their family believes that someone plot the accident and they will get to the bottom of it.

"Gumising kana, we already miss the family day, Sam is sad and worried about you." Bulong niya na tila naririnig siya ng dalaga. "And I-I miss you..."

Hindi na niya namalayan ang pag luha, he needs to revive her twice for her to survive it was terrifying to him and traumatic dahil habang buhay niyang sisisihin ang sarili kung sakaling may nangyaring masama sa dalaga.

"Magagalit na si Mama, kasi di ka naka attend ng rehearsal ngayon." He said chuckling.

Para na siyang baliw na tumatawa habang umiiyak. The worst thing of becoming a doctor is to lost the lives of the patient you wants to save, akala ng iba ay maganda at madali lang ang trabaho ng mga doctor, no profession is easy. Lahat ng trabaho ay mahirap sometimes it can be traumatic and terrifying. Aiden sighed wala sa sariling niyukyok niya ang ulo sa may kama, he was so tired and his eyes were about to give up and it did.

Sa sobrang pagod ay nakatulog siya sa tabi ng dalaga, his position was very uncomfortable but he fell asleep like a baby. Hindi na niya napansin iyon dahil sa sobrang pagod and when he woke up someone is poking him.

"Daddy..." Samantha whispered. "Wake up Daddy."

Aiden blink and smile inangat niya ang ulo at muling tumingin sa dalaga she was still asleep and it was almost twenty-four hours.

"What are you doing here baby? Sino ang kasama mo?"

"Si Lola po, but she said that she will just buy something for you to eat."

Hinaplos ni Aiden ang mahabang buhok ng anak, she was too young to experience and witness this kind of scene, masyado pang bata ang anak niya and it can traumatized her.

"You are a doctor daddy right?" She said.

Aiden nods his head.

"I-is Momma gonna be okay? A-ayos lang kahit hindi tayo naka punta sa family day. We can just go next year, just please save Momma."

Tila nadurog ang kanyang puso sa pag luha ng anak Aiden wipe her tears away then he kiss her forehead.

"Everything is gonna be fine baby... Momma's is gonna be okay, huwag ka ng umiyak. If Momma saw you crying she will be very sad."

Sam nodded, yumakap ito sa kanyang leeg at pinikit ang mga mata. He can feel her exhaustion malamang ay hindi ito gaanong natulog dahil sa pag aalala. He smile when he realize that she already fell asleep in his arms marahan niyang tinapik ang likod ng anak, hindi niya ito nagawa noong sanggol pa si Sam, one of the things he like to do with his kid is to Carry them in his arms making them fell asleep, it must be hard for Amethyst because she's alone having a kid to care for and do her job all alone.

"Wake up so that I can thank you for taking care of our Sam, I didn't realize that you'd been enough already and I've been an asshole all the time." He whispered. "So please wake up.."

He took Amethyst hand, he carefully pressed it and smile. But his eyes widened when a finger of her moved.

"Amy?" He whispered agad siyang tumayo at nilapag ang anak sa sofa then he went back to Amethyst. "Can you hear me? Amethyst."

Then her eyes slowly opened, a lone tear dropped on her eyes as she looks at Aiden.

"Amethyst can you hear me?"

Amethyst slowly nodded, he sighed in relief to her reaction.

Agad na kinuha ni Aiden ang baso matapos uminom ng dalaga, she heave and close her eyes. There is an internal fracture to her left leg but it can cure in just six months nag pasalamat na lang talaga sila na iyon lang ang natamo ng dalaga.

"What happened?" Mahinang wika ni Amethyst medyo nahihirapan pa siyang mag salita at medyo nahihilo pa but it was bearable.

"You got into an accident, after the rehearsal you left and said you'll meet someone and then the accident happened,"

Amethyst nods ang kanyang mata ay dumako sa anak na natutulog pa sa sofa.

"She must be shocked isn't she?' malungkot niyang wika.

Aiden sighed and nodded.

"She is, but she's fine now." Wika ng binata at hinaplos ang kanyang pisngi. "Alam mo bang halos mahimatay ako ng makita kong ikaw ang pasyente ko? It was very traumatizing."

"I'm sorry..." Malungkot na wika ni Amethyst. "I didn't wish for it to happen,"

Pinunasan ni Aiden ang luha g pumatak sa mata nito.

"Don't cry, bawal kang ma stress.."

"Call me crazy but I think someone saved my ass this time." Wika ni Amethyst, "I saw him... I saw him standing on the beach,"

"Who?" Naguguluhang wika ni Aiden.

"Moon, I-I saw him in my dreams." Nakangiti niyang wika. "I know you won't believe it but I saw him, he was smiling to me waving his hand, we sat on the white beach and just talk, he said that he was so proud of me and his very happy."

Hindi na niya namalayan ang patuloy na pag patak ng kanyang luha remembering Moon made her sad and happy at the same time. Moon might be gone but there will always be a special spot for him in her heart.

"He said that I should go back, That I don't belong there not yet, not now. Then I remember seeing you in your hot robe.

Aiden chuckled, Amethyst did woke up in the middle of the surgery but it was just for a quick second.

"He must be guiding you..." Wika ni Aiden, "he loves you so much. And I'm really happy you found someone like him while I'm away being the jerk one."

"Mahal mo ako Aiden, you are just scared to fight for it at that time." Amethyst said hinawakan niya ang kamay ng binata at ngumiti.

Aiden smile and nodded.

"Then what happened next?" Tanong ni Aiden.

Amethyst frown trying to think what happened after that.

"Then I held my baby Sun..." She said smiling from ear to ear, "I held him in my arms his so warm and cute!"

Aiden chuckled looking at her happy face makes him relieved.

"Momma?"

Amethyst and Aiden's attention were caught by their daughter Sam is now fully awake looking at them with her teary eyes.

"Momma!" Sam shouted then she run towards her, Sam jump to her hugging her tight making her twitch in pain.

"Sam, Momma is still sick." Mahinahong wika ni Aiden.

"I'm sorry..." She whispered crying, "I-I thought something happened to you. I was so scared Momma, I'm so scared that you'll leave me too just like Dada."

Amethyst smile, hinaplos niya ang likod ng anak na lumuwag na ang yakap she can hear Sam's sob that broke her heart.

"I'm not leaving you, Momma will always be here for you." She said caressing her hair. "And I'm sorry that we missed family day."

Sam shook her head lumayo ito sa kanya at hinawakan ang kanyang pisngi.

"It's okay Momma, what matter is that you are fine. Daddy did his best to help you out."

Amethyst ile and nodded, lumingon siya kay Aiden na nakangiti lang habang nakatingin sa kanila. It must be traumatizing for him, hinawakan niya ang kamay ni Aiden at matamis na ngumiti.

"I know Princess, Daddy is the best doctor we have." Proud niyang wika. "Thank you Daddy!"

Aiden chuckled tumayo ito at lumipat ng upuan he sat beside her then he encircled his arms around them.

"Am I the best?" Malambing na wika nito.

"Of course Daddy! You saved Momma, I want to be a doctor too so that I can take care the both of you."

Agad na nag katinginan ang dalawa at sabay na ngumiti, then the door opened Keana and Eros entered.

"Hi Mama, Hi Daddy." Nakangiting wika ni Amethyst.

Keana's eyes watered when she realize her daughter is now awake agad naman itong inalalayan ni Eros palapit sa kanya.

"Are you okay? Wala bang masakit sayo?"

Amethyst shook her head.

"Wala po, I'm fine. I'm sorry I made you worried,"

Keana nodded hinaplos niya ang mukha ng anak, her heart broke when she see those little scratches on her face.

"May sugat yung mukha mo, ang pangit mo na." Umiiyak na wika nito, "ikakasal ka pa naman."

Amethyst chuckled, she wipe her mother tears.

"Mama naman, may sugat man sa mukha ko alam kong maganda parin ako." She said chuckling then her eyes darted to her father. "Daddy..."

Eros simpl wipe his tears before he walk towards her umuklo ito upang halikan ang kanyang noo.

"Bakit ba lapitin kayo ng disgrayang mag kakapatid?"

Malakas na natawa si Amethyst sa sinabi ng ama, bakit nga ba?

"But what happened to you was not an accident, Tess Lopez was the master mind of that."

Amethyst smile, she's disappointed to her. She wants to give her a chance to be better for her kid but look at what she did, hindi niya ito mapapatawad the trauma it will cause to Sam if something bad really happened pains her.

"Nahuli na ba siya?"

"Yes, she's already in jail all the evidence are pointing out on her so we have all the rights to file a case against her."

"It's good enough," she sighed and looks at Aiden. "Kailan ako puwedeng lumabas doc?"

Aiden chuckled to her remark.

"You need to stay here for few days, we need to run some test to make sure that you are all good."

"Mabuti na lang at may anak din akong doctor." Wika ni Keana.

"Manugang mo na siya."

Keana rolled her eyes.

"Anak ko parin siya!" Masungit na wika nito sa asawa. "Bakit parang napapansin ko na kanina mo pa ako binabara? May galit ka sakin?"

"What? No! Kailan pa ako nagalit sayo wifey, My loves, Baby?!"

Tinaasan lang ni Keana ng kilay ang asawa. Amethyst smile while watching her parents argue, matatanda na ang mga ito ngunit hindi parin nawawala ang pag mamahalan she hopes to have that kind of relationship with Aiden.

Amethyst sat in front of Tess, her cold looks remain. Wala siyang awang nararamdaman dito.

"Buhay ka parin pala? What a waste."

Amethyst smile pinag siklop niya ang kanyang dalawang kamay at pinatong doon ang baba niya.

"Of course, God won't let me die to annoy the hell out of you." She said. "I give you a chance to change yourself and to be better for your child, but you choose to be a b***h trying to kill me. Sana nag paka sawa kana sa buhay mo sa labas, because you won't get a chance to see the world out here for a very long time. Your son will grow without his mother and that is much more better than knowing he has an evil mother. I think he would be grateful not having you don't worry I will be putting him under my custody I will make sure that he will grow up as a good person a good kid,"

"Wala akong pakialam sa batang iyon! You ruined my life! Pareho kayo ni Aiden, all I did was to love him but he just use me!"

"If he use you then you let him and it's not my fault that you don't know a thing they called self worth. Don't put the blame on me or daughter kung galit ka kay Aiden then it's fine with me dahil wala akong alam sa pinag daanan niyo you have all the rights to be mad at him hindi kita pipigilan."

Amethyst stood up kinuha niya ang pouch sa lamesa at tumalikod.

"Have fun staying in here."
