I stood outside of my father's office, staring at the door so much that it felt like I would put it to ashes. I had been standing there for almost fifteen minutes without moving.
It was the day after Brittany had embarrassed and poured water over Fiona at school in the presence of a lot of people. I didn't know what to do about the situation as it was getting out of hand and neither Brittany nor Fiona would listen to me.
What hurt me the most was Fiona ignoring me. I'd never seen her act that way before. She genuinely looked at me like I was the vilest pest she had ever seen. It was obvious the whole situation had made her furious and changed how she saw me.
The fact that she had even been trying to avoid me when we were caught by Brittany made it worse.
