What is living?
What does it mean to be loved?
What is the true essence of life itself?
What is FAMILY?
An ancient desire for another is implanted in us which reunites our original nature, seeking to make one of two the healing states of man. We were once whole and the desire which burns in us to revert back to our original nature is called ''LOVE''.
When one is met with one’s other half, the pair is lost in an amazement of love, friendship, intimacy, and neither would be seen out of the other's side.
I believe what is called LOVE goes beyond the feeling of intimacy. It’s greater than the simple desire to be beside the other. I believe LOVE is really shown when tested through time, through trials, through seasons, ups and downs, and when it survives with bonds stronger than it initially was, then, it can truly be called LOVE.
‘Where are they?!’ the voice of the captain resounded in the woods as he and his men chased after Rebecca and Julius.
‘Get them! Do not let them get away!’ he shouted again as the soldiers continued in the pursuit. Rebecca was exhausted and on the verge of giving up but did. She couldn't. She had to take her baby to safety.
'Just a little further we're almost there,' Julius said, running behind mother and child to shield them from any arrow or spear launched at them. They ran and ran until they reached the bank of the Belo river but what awaited them there was beyond unexpected. It was JEROME.
'Seems I wasn't wrong taking a detour. My instincts yet again stand victorious. There's nowhere to run Julius, surrender now or else…' Jerome said with a sinister smile on his face. Julius and Rebecca stopped and as they turned around, they found themselves surrounded by soldiers. It was an ambush.
'Tsk...tsk...Julius, Julius, Julius you never learn do you? Did you really think I'd come alone?’ His malicious laughter filled the air. Still panting, Julius held Rebecca close whilst trying to find and escape route for her and the child.
'Jerome!' he screamed.
