Five years later,

Hazel stood at the entrance of her children school and smiled as she watched the other kids leave the school. she knew that a moment from now, her children will run towards her.

Dressed in a short black gown with her wavy long hair falling beneath her waist with a pretty smile on her V face, she continued to look towards the entrance of the school.

" Hello, Hazel. I guess you are here to pick up your kids.

A teacher turned and smiled

" yeah " Hazel answered while smiling.

"you know I'm jealous of you, one wouldn't guess that you already gave birth to three kids at once!" the teacher said with a flustered look.

"despite that, you still have a body of a teenager, if only I can be like that "

Just before Hazel could respond three children ran out to meet her. the moment they got to her they all hugged her at once. she Smiled looking at her children.

Mommy Melvin fought in class today her eldest child Lucia said

Melvin her second child lowered his head feeling guilty.

oh my god Melvin!!! I've told you to stop causing trouble and focus on your books.

you're supposed to look after your siblings.

I'm sorry mom Melvin said feeling guilty, I didn't mean to but they all called me a bastard, and said that I don't have a father.

omg!!! how can kids say such horrible words. I'm sorry baby, don't listen to their nonsense.

but mom where's our dad the three children spoke in unison looking at her with confused eyes.

Hazel was dumbfounded cause she didn't know what to tell them.

I'm sorry babies but your father is dead she said feeling guilty,

"Alright let's go home"

won't you tell us more about our dad mom?

Not yet, we'll talk about that when we get home! she said and smiled at them as she ushered them to the side of the road where they can get a uber to get home.

On the other side of the road was a black Benz which was packed there. The driver turned his head to the other side of the road and saw hazel and her kids.

Wow!!! he exclaimed. while his boss seated at the back wondered what made his driver exclaim.

Is everything okay??? he asked

Boss look at that woman there and her three kids look like you he said and smiled while his boss looked towards the widow coldly.

Since hazel and her children has entered the taxi he couldn't see them clearly.

"How's that my business?

Never bother me with things like this again!!

He said and coldly closed his eyes as he rested his head on the back seat.

His driver was shocked and flustered. Even if things were hectic at work must he always be cold? can't he just loosen up a bit? he thought.

He then smiled. A fake smile to be precise

" welcome back miss Hazel" her children nanny said and smiled.

"thank you"

" you guys should go and wash up. then come down and eat dinner".

"I'll do that later. help the kids washup and feed them their food. I need to get them their late night snack" she replied and walked towards the kitchen while Becca helped the kids to their room.

Her three children were the product of the one night stand five years ago. when she found out that she was carrying three kids she was so devastated and she wanted to have an abortion, but now she is glad that she didn't do that.

she could have done that but her doctor said she won't be able to convince if she ever did that and then she was at college.

she kept up with the shame and embarrassment just to have her kids

as soon as she was done with college she relocated to Chicago where she was currently.

it was not an easy thing to take care of three children alone so she hired a nanny. even though her children were naughty at times, they were still obedient and helpful.

they knew when she needed rest, they knew when she's I a bad mood, they knew when she wanted them to be around and when not. they understood her perfectly and she was thankful for that.

Her first child is a girl Lucia., who took after her reasoning and sense of humour and had a great sense of reasoning to take care of her siblings.

The second child is Melvin. He was the most stubborn and loved to prove that he is right in everything

Her third child Lucian is a boy and he was meek and liked to be on his own.

She loves her kids so much and wanted to take care of them with her money. She wanted to spoil them so much but she had no money to do so. she was still searching for a job. they had been depending on their savings for the rent and school fees but they were running out of cash and she needed money.

she didn't want her kids to go hungry. the thought of them being hungry made her sad.

while she was thinking of that, her phone rang.

she wondered whom it was because it was an unknown number she decided not to pick but the phone kept on ringing.

she sighed and picked up the call.

"Hello"?

"Is this miss Hazel Williams? a man, she presumed would be in his forties said over the phone.

"Yes, how may I help you?

" we're calling from the personnel development of Stanford TV station".

the moment she heard that she suddenly sprang up.

"congratulations, you have been hired to be working directly in our department. you have to come early at least 7:30 am!!

immediately she heard that her sadness faded away and sparks returned to her eyes.

"thank you!!" she said as the man hung up.

yess!!!!! she screamed out. she was definitely the most happiest person at the moment, she would make sure to spoil her children so much that other children would be so envious of them!! she thought as she smiled and hurriedly prepared their snacks and served them while she ate her own meal.

The next morning she hurriedly prepared her children for school with the help of the nanny while she prepared for work.

Few minutes later, she had gotten to her new work place. She realised that she was thirty minutes early.

She looked up to see a young woman she assumed to be in her thirties Walked towards her.

the lady glared at Hazel coldly as she got towards her,

"Hazel Williams?? she asked harshly?

Hi Hazel said indifferent to her hostility

the lady continued glaring at her and said you're responsible for carrying the camera she said and looked at her with hostility.

what?? she thought within herself.

camera?? that was the most stressful job ever but then, she needed the money.

"ok" she replied indifferently

Hazel wondered why the lady was so hostile towards her cause she has never met her before.

soon a young man walked into the room

"Hi, Hazel, right? he asked with a friendly smile and she nodded.

The man handed a camera to her and said " we have to meet up with Nora , the woman who left just now .

"oh, she's Nora,"

" yh be careful of her, she's like a venom snake. don't mess with her she's good at her job but she's very hot tempered. the man said.
