Irina's POV The days passed slowly at the bakery. Marina and Roberto were very kind to me. They treated me like family. They made sure I was comfortable and well-fed. But they barely let me out of the house. "It is for your safety," Marina would say whenever I asked to go outside. "Mikhail made it very clear, you must stay hidden. You must not step outside.
