The world around them came to a standstill as Rohan and Riya stood hand in hand, the only sound being the gentle lapping of the water against the shore.
Riya's heart was racing, and she felt like she was drowning in Rohan's eyes. She knew that she had to say something, but her voice was caught in her throat.
Rohan, sensing her nervousness, took a step closer. "Riya, from the moment I met you, I knew that you were special. You light up my world in ways that I never thought possible."
Riya's eyes welled up with tears as Rohan's words touched her heart.
"I think I might be falling in love with you, Riya," Rohan said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Riya's heart skipped a beat. No one had ever said those words to her before.
She looked up at Rohan, her eyes locking with his. "I'm falling in love with you too, Rohan."
As the words left her lips, Rohan's face lit up with a radiant smile. He pulled Riya close, and their lips met in a soft, gentle kiss.
