Dani’s POV The first official practice session hit like a freight train at full speed. Bikes started coming back into the garage before the first hour was even over. Overheated engines, shredded tires, chains stretched past their limit, throttle cables frayed from hard pulls. Every time I looked up from one repair, two more riders were rolling in with their hands waving and their mouths running. "My rear tire is shot! I need a swap now!" Dex shouted, skidding his bike sideways into the pit. "Get in line, Dex!" Big Mike yelled from under a smoking exhaust system. "We have three bikes ahead of you!" "I do not care about three bikes, I care about my bike!" The noise was deafening. Air wrenches screaming, engines revving, riders yelling over each other, and the constant bang of metal too
