I felt like I'd stepped into the usual fairytale movies where women were dressed in big beautiful ball gowns and men wore the best tailored tuxedos- all of their faces covered by masks as they danced away to the live performance from the orchestra that stood lined along the railings of the second floor, just before the grand staircase that led to the ballroom where we were all gathered. The chandeliers that hung from the ceilings caused the room to brighten up and the walls covered in golden intricate designs of the best kind added to the feel of this magical night.
