"Where is it? We forgot to ask Carter how it looked," I asked Killian.
Or was I talking to myself?
"Let's look for anything strange in the walls or on the floor.
Or maybe..." he stopped speaking and I turned to look at him.
"What? Did you see something?" I asked him.
"You... Why... Ha! We seem to forget all the time.
Use your powers.
See whether you can see anything," he said and I palmed my forehead.
I was in such a hurry to find my babies I forgot I could just use my powers to look for the door.
That's what I did.
I spread my senses all around and willed them to open any doors in the room and that was what happened.
Below our feet, a board moved and revealed a spiraling staircase.
"Let's go in incognito," Killian said and made that shield again.
