16 Thad was packing up his briefcase to leave when his father appeared in the doorway. “Thad,” Timothy greeted him with a warm smile. “Haven’t seen you in the office much the last few days.” “I’ve been busy with Veronica and Lyra.” His father nodded. “Your mother and I really want to meet them.
