I quickly ran to the pack kitchens, I couldn’t help but smile, Joe was awake.
As I came back I saw Michail, Andrei and the healer Alexander, discuss something. I strained my ears trying to figure out what they were saying but when they noticed me, they kept quiet. My dad smiled at me and waved me over. “You must be very relieved now that your mate has woken”
I looked at him and I could see they were hiding something; I gave them all a hard stare before I proceeded “What are you not telling me?”
My grandfather tried to defuse the situation “We will speak about it later, it’s nothing serious”
He tried to guide me towards the pack hospital entrance, I ripped my arm out of his hold and stared down at him, I was at least an inch taller “I want to know now”
