CHAPTER FOURTEENThe Queen Bee “I don’t understand.” I hesitated in the doorway of a vast chamber. Clothed in finest silk, the tall, blonde woman turned to greet me and the light from holes in the ceiling lit the gentle veins in the fabric. She shimmered and glistened and the words dried up in my throat.
