Irene’s POV We left at 3 a.m. Reagan came to the guarded room and told the warriors his father had changed his mind and wanted to see me immediately. They bought it. Or maybe they were too scared to question the future Alpha. Either way, they stepped aside. I grabbed a small bag with some clothes and my phone. My hands wouldn’t stop shaking. Reagan took my hand and pulled me through the back hallways. We moved fast and quiet, hearts pounding so loud I was sure someone would hear us.
