Sam’s POV—
Dad always said one thing to me which I often argued upon, and that is ‘However you may try to show that you are tough and no one can ever hurt you, but you are too good and too kind and you trust people easily. Someday you will be hurt if you don’t stop trusting everyone blindly.’
Now I understand what he meant.
So all this while when I thought that a man you was also trying to do something good for the society without boasting about it, I made him my friend, I was being fooled! He was bloody Chris Hamilton whom I didn’t know by face but only by name! He was never just my friend Arnold? But why is he saying this now to me? What help does he want? Did my friendship and trust mean so less to him?
I was for once speechless! I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to hear more from him
