Narrator’s POV—
Chris walked away with the phone to another side of the pool and while going he picked up a glass of whiskey that he was drinking earlier.
“So, what did you do the whole day Rai?” Chris asked in a tired voice.
“Nothing much, just work.” Raina replied but he noticed the strange irritation in Chris’s voice and frowned internally. Was he irritated to talk to her? She however composed her internal thoughts and doubts and asked in a sweeter voice that always managed to soften Chris, “Darling! Did I do something wrong? If I did, please forgive me Chris! I know I can be stupid sometimes!”
