“So you think this is the only way?” I asked when Richard suggested that I should keep him close to me so that Chris can be made jealous and he may soon realise what he really wants.
“Yes. Precisely! And we need to display our growing affection in front of Chris! He must feel threatened else he will never come to his senses!” Richard said and then sighed. He added with a distant look, “It seems powerful men with wealth and position, are poor in emotions! They only realise what they want when they lose it!”
He exhaled deeply and then suddenly as if coming out of his trance he said smiling, “Anyways, let’s go then! We are starting right now!”
