Narrator’s POV—
The whole way to the Dalton’s house, Chris remained seated quietly. His face was grumpy! Samantha though was in a good mood. She thought that Chris looked cute when angry and also she was happy that Chris was looking out for her! He must have been worried that a stranger might take advantage of her. Indeed Chris was a very good friend! She only hoped, he could have been more than just friends! Though she won’t spoil the good friendship expecting something not possible! Besides Raina came in his life before her and it is not Raina’s fault that Samantha and Chris met much later!
“Don’t talk to strangers like that! Why would you let someone carry you?” Chris said in a low disappointed tone.
