Wrong deal.

Orion “She wasn’t so bad.” I thought to myself as I walked to the bar. I found a seat, sat down, called Wilder and continued our conversation. “Hey! Wilder, why were you not at the wedding?” “My hands were full with the deal we talked about.” Wilder said at the other end. “I don’t know why you are making a mountain out of this, I will bring her to the bar and watch them do everything.” I said. “I thought you didn’t want to be involved, you really want the girl to know that you, her supposed husband is the one pimping her out?” “What will she do about it if she knows, come on, since they can’t pay the debt they are owing, what is the need of having her in my house if she can’t work and earn the money.” “I do hope you are sure of what you are doing cause I have discussed with the guys to come pick her by themselves so you do not need to show your face and she won’t know who is making money off her.” Wilder explained. “And she will be in the dark for 2 years +? Come-on , it doesn’t make sense, it is better she knows from the onset and I will have to be the one in charge of everything so whenever my father wants to see us, she will be available. I need to be the one in control of her time.” I stated plainly. “This will change everything, you know.” Wilder muttered. “How?” I questioned with a furrowed eyebrow. “If you are going to be the one in charge of her time, then all you will have to do is bring her there every night, can you do that? Every f*****g night. She won’t stay there so that means they will have to s***h the money they wanted to pay as they won’t have access to her all day, it will only be when you bring her over. I hope you have thought this through.” Wilder quizzed. “I can’t afford to hand them over to her, she is still my wife in name and you know how our business works. My father has competitors too, if they find out that I pumped out my wife; it will be s field day for them, I don’t even want to imagine what my dad will do. I hate this girl and I still do but I can’t burn myself because I want to punish her, if this won’t work out, I will just wait until I have my own hotel stable then I can use her there.”. “Let me call the guys that have been sent already then.” Wilder grumbled. “You have already sent them after all I have been explaining to you? You are unbelievable! Let me go check up on her, I will be coming with her to the bar this night.” I blurted out standing up. “It’s okay, let me call them.” I walked to my hotel room and knocked at the door as I wasn’t with the key to the room. “Ava” I called at the umpteenth time of knocking without her opening the door. I was getting angry “Did she sleep off.” I asked the empty corridor. “And what kind of person sleeps like a dead person.” Tired from knocking, I took out my phone and called the manager, “Come with the spare key to my room and be fast!” I blurted out anger churning my stomach. It is just the first night and this lady is already showing how daft she can be, I muttered pacing the hall way. I was thinking of what I can do to punish her when I saw the manager rushing towards me “Good evening Sir.” He greeted looking at me. “Open the goddamn door, do you know how long I have been standing here?” I growled. “Yes Sir, sorry Sir.” He rambled off while opening the door. Once the door was opened, I pushed him away and walked inside with all the anger and hate in me, “Ava!” I screamed. “I swear to God, if you don’t come out from that bathroom you are hiding in the next 1 second, I am going to do something you will never forget in your godforsaken life to you!” I howled out on sighting the empty bed. “Ava!” I screamed again moving from the bedroom to the bathroom. “Ava?” I called again. “Did she run away but I’ve been in the bar and I didn’t see anyone go out.” I took out my phone and called the manager again, “The lady that came with me, check the CCTV, did she leave this room and get back to me on f*****g time, within 10 seconds.” I finished with a repressed anger. I was pacing the room when I remembered Wilder and I picked my phone which was now on the bed and called him, he picked at the second ring. “I have called the guys, they are on their way back so nothing to worry about.” Wilder informed me on taking the call. “That can’t be Wilder cause Ava is not here.” I voiced quietly, anger taking away my ability to shout. “What do you mean?” Wilder asked confused. “I mean I went to my room to find out it was locked, I thought Ava was inside and I knocked for her to open the door to no avail. I had to call the manager to come open the room with his spare key. I am in here and Ava is not here.” “What if she ran away?’ Wilder quizzed. “Ran away tonight when she could have done that days before the wedding or even before I lay with her. I am not buying that but I have told the manager to check, call those guys again and confirm they are not with her. I don’t like the feeling I am getting from this and my dad can’t hear about this, so I need to get her tonight. You can help me get information on her, I gave you her portfolio already, let the guys search everywhere, anyone that sees her should let me know.” I instructed and ended the call, now convinced Ava was not in the hotel premises. I was still standing in the room when the manager came in sweating and panting, “You didn’t knock.” I scolded. “Sorry Sir.” He muttered while edging closer to me. “You need to see this, Sir.” He muttered practically shoving the laptop to my face. I ignored the action knowing it was anxiety and tilted the laptop well towards me and that was when I saw three men who were wearing mask escorting Ava out of the hotel room. I froze, took my phone and called Wilder, who took the call immediately. “I just finished speaking with them, they said they haven’t even gotten to the hotel when I called them to abort mission.” Wilder rattled off. “So which men took Ava.” I muttered.
