Chapter ThirteenSheena ran until her breath was coming sobbingly between her lips and there was a pain in her side. She had no idea where she was going or really what she was running from. She had only a sense of urgency to be free, not only from Lucien but from the horror of seeing him and Henri fighting, the blows they struck at each other sounding as dull and ominous as the beats of her own heart.
