Chapter One Hundred and Six: The Vision
Jadea The days without Adam went by fast and I made sure to be the good girl and complete all of my tasks, therefore I wouldn’t incite Adam’s ire or give him any reason to delve into my mind unnecessarily. As it was, he wasn’t suspicious. Perhaps, though, that was due in part to his own mind being preoccupied in connecting with his wolf. Since I completed all tasks, he rewarded me—as we had discussed—with some very happy endings for me. And now, it was the night when the hunting party was to return. We had talked a little about how his time went meditating and his connection with his wolf, but he hadn’t given much away.
