Jadea “Is it normal to be nervous?” Adam asked me as an aside while wolves gathered around the clearing. There were obvious groups formed—mainly packs congregating with packs. My entire pack had been the first present while others trickled in. Across from us was Hector. Ty’s pack mingled with his as the alphas conversed. I could see Ty’s smile and hear Hector’s full belly laughter. I was glad they were having a good time, however sadness did hit my heartstrings. There was a time when I had been a part of that ‘in’ crowd. When I had been accepted by Ty. I hoped we would be able to figure out our differences soon.
