EPISODE SIX

"Jeez, today am leave my job that l have done for over two years. l will get something that will be of use to me and become an entrepreneur myself. " l said to myself but that was all just comforting myself. l sighed slightly am got out of bed. These were the most thought times of my life. A life without a job just living up to my husband. Everything l need, he would provide but l didn't want to be a house wife who depends on her husband.

At the company l handed in my resignation letter and started packing my stuff. My boss's assistant told me that the boss is waiting for me in his office. l went and was really waiting for me but what did he want tell me. Saying good bye or more harsh words. l found him sitted and got up from his chair once l greeted him. " Sir, you summoned me." l said. He told me that he checked the cameras and he found that l was the one humiliated. He told me that l should resume my work tomorrow. " But sir, l am now fine l can continue my work no need for a day off." l told him anxiously. " No, l disturbed you in some way so am giving you a day off." he told me. l moved out of his office with joy. my co-workers seemed they knew something. Michael came and congratulated me. So he knew that l was not getting fire. Annie also knew and they kept it a secret.

'During lunch hours Michael decided to take his lunch from a friend's restaurant. He sat in the VIP. He ordered his meal.As he was enjoying his meal and he accidentally spotted my husband Max.

Michael knew Max too well but Max had never met Michael.

Michael came closer and looked well. He saw Michael having fancy lunch with the same scumbag who humiliated me. He step in and greet them. Max mistook him for an investor they were waiting for. " Good afternoon sir, please have a sit- This is my wife Margret." he said. Margret gave him her hand. Michael greeted her politely. " How long have you two been married." Michael asked with a gentle smile. He now decided to play along with their act to find out something though he was still confused. Max told him that they have been together since childhood and have been childhood sweethearts and proceed in for marriage. " We are gifted with a baby boy and he is almost five years. " Max gave out his details about the new family he was introducing now. Max knew he was taking to an investor who was once his friend in childhood times. That friend had been abroad and he was now every wealthy and a well known investor. Max asked him to meet with him and they talk about investing in their Tesra company. They had decided to meet during lunch hours. Max had promised him that he would bring his wife along. Michael came to bumped in someone else's meeting and they mistook him.

After Michael knowing that Max had been cheating on me with some other woman, he excused himself to make a call and when he was outside, he quickly drove off back to work. Max waited for the man to return but he didn't see him. As he was about to make a call the real investor, Edward, came. " Hello Max, sorry for making you wait all this long. l actually got an emergency but here l am we can proceed." Edward said sitting down. Max looked utterly confused. So who was the man he actually met a few minutes ago. Was he a spy? Max seemed to worry. He told his assistant to investigate about the man he had met and give him a report with in a few hours.

Michael was at the company looking stressed. " Should l tell Cathy ? no no. She will be heartbroken. But l can't sit there and do nothing l have to do something for her." He said to himself. Annie came to jazz with him. " Do you mind if we........" She cut her sentence. She knocked on Michael's desk. He woke up from the dreams he was in. Annie asked him what was wrong. Michael told her that everything was fine. She didn't buy the idea and looked confused.But she complied with what he told her.

Tyr got the information from the restaurant's reception. They told him were Michael worked. Max was more convinced that Micheal was a spy. Max summoned his friends Jethro and Kurt. He wanted them to do him a favour.

Micheal retired form work and prepared to go home. Outside the company he meets Max who was waiting for him the whole evening. " Hello, Michael nice to meet you again. " Max said laughing. " What do you want from me? " Michael asked him. Max told him that he knew he was Cathy's spy. " l am only her friend and let me warn you l will tell her that you have another woman and a child. " Michael threatened him. Michael pretended to be scared " Ohh don't please. Ahhhhh " He said smirking. He laughed wildly. Michael almost lost it. Jethro and Kurt came out and punched his stomach. Michael fell on the ground. They beat him up very badly and warned him not to ever mentioned a word to Cathy or else they would finish him off.'

At home l was watching a movie while eating snacks. l got a call from Annie. She told me Michael was in the hospital. He had been beaten up by some thugs. l rushed to check on him. At the hospital, Michael was in his room. So he was admitted. The doctors said he was bleeding from inside and that he was badly beaten.

l came to see him. He was sleeping. l felt so sorry for him. l couldn't see him in that situation. l used my werewolf powers to heal his inner bleeding.

He exhaled and went to sleep. He was now fine l hoped. Cathy opened Michael's shirt. She was stunned by what she saw. Michael was a werewolf. He made a marked that was identical to Cathy's on her belly. The marked was only possessed by werewolves. So Michael was one of Cathy's packs.
