The two of them could not believe what has happened. It was Malia who ended the fleeting romantic moment by pushing Allan slightly on his chest. There was no resistance from him either. He simply allowed her to push him back. Partly because he knew Malia was indirectly telling him to back off and that she has had enough.
But, did Malia have enough? Of course, she didn't but, she had to break it off because she believed it was not appropriate to do that. Allan was just a stranger whom she had just met. There ought to be more acquaintances before the two of them can get into a romance if they wish to do so.
Nevertheless, she held on to his hands after pushing him slightly away from him. They both stared at each other in silence but, with an intense look on their faces.
