LAURA'S POV “Is he dead?” Kora rushed to my side, checking if the man was truly lifeless. “Oh my God! Oh my goodness!” I gasped, tears streaming down my face. “Babe, the guy is dead,” she whispered, and I stood frozen in place, more tears falling.
