43 It didn’t take the police long to tie Oliver Weddinghouse to the murder. There were the fingerprints on the wineglasses; his on one, Jackie’s on the other. Additionally, fibers from a navy blue sweater of Oliver’s were found on the one Jackie had been wearing as well as a couple of strands of his hair. Interestingly, Oliver claimed he was wearing a green sweater that day, not a blue one. Witnesses from the country club where Oliver had been till midnight were divided: two were sure he wore a green sweater, three believed it was navy blue, and one was certain it had been beige.
