I originally planned to use a poem called "Come In," by Robert Frost but found out at the last minute that it was still protected by copyright. Gaining permission from an estate to quote a poem in another work is a ticklish affair and I didn't want to wait around for a "no." So, after searching for a couple of days for something in the public domain and finding nothing that said what I needed it to say, I wrote my own.
