I was singing "Bye Bye Bye" at the top of my lungs when I pulled up in front of my basement apartment (Don't judge me). Emmett usually barks when he hears me at the door and turns himself inside out trying to get to me while I'm trying to unlock it. This time, he was silent. This only concerned me a little. If he was asleep in the back of the apartment, he might not have heard me. That had never happened, but there was always a first time. I put my key in the lock.
