Dex's P.O.V.
She wouldn't stop screaming and crying long enough for her wounds to heal. She was writhing in pain and no matter who tried she couldn't be comforted. Ash was a ball of guilt and regret. He hated himself right now, so he was useless. He couldn't calm, Ember. Not when he was the one that caused her this pain.
"Dex, please. You need to make her forget." Nate asked me. He was hurting for his daughter.
"It won't last long. The mate bond isn't something easily forgotten." I warned him. "I'm not even sure if I can."
"Please try." His eyes were red from crying.
He almost experienced this pain today when his mate was on the beach. She almost lost her baby, but thankfully I was able to open the portal in time. Charles had saved them both.
