Dex's P.O.V.
I raced to my room, fishing the box and clean clothes out of my dresser. I stuffed the sink drain and turned the water on. I filled it up to the top, before turning the tap off. I took the necklace and held it tightly in my hand.
"Toni?" I called his name staring into the water. I felt like an i***t staring into a sink full of water. At least until it began to ripple, when the water stilled again Toni was starting back at me. "Well I'll be damned, it worked."
