Ben looks at Ravana being shocked.
“Landlady?” Ben’s voice gets weak.
Ravana laughs awkwardly. Ben thinks when he met Ravana for the first time at that restaurant she never asked him for his address and dropped him directly at his place. Does that mean she already knew where Ben lives? Ben starts to feel more puzzled. He stands there frozen.
Miss Joy and her husband bring Ravana into their home. Ben comes along.
“My damned eyes, how come I didn’t recognize such beauty. I never thought you would come here with Ben.” Miss Joy laughs.
“It's alright.” Ravana assures.
“You even stay the night.” Aunt Joy laughs mischievously looking at her husband. Her husband has a serious look.
“We are sorry, madam. We had no idea that it's you.” Mr. John’s face looks pale.
“It's alright, Mr. John. I figured that out.”
“I shouldn't ask... But how do you know Ben?” He asked.
Everyone looks at Ben. Ben still looks puzzled.
“It's a long story…” Ravana laughs.
Ravana's face suddenly gets a bit serious and she looks at Mr. John.
“By the way, Mr. John, I remember giving you money to fix the building's pipeline. I was just checking the pipe and it was so weak that it broke instantly!” Ravana demands an answer.
“That madame…” Mr. John hesitates.
Mr. John starts to stammer. Ravana looks at him angrily.
“Send me a proper explanation about that money by today!” Ravana orders.
She stands up from there and comes to Ben.
“Why are you so quiet?” Ravana asks.
Ben doesn’t say anything and walks out of there. Ravana follows him. Ben goes into his room and starts to look for anything usable. Ravana tries to come inside.
“WHERE ARE YOU COMING?!” Ben shouts.
Ravana looks at him, surprised. Ben looks mad. Ravana looks down and comes inside the room. She walks towards Ben.
“Are you mad that your room is a mess because of me?” Ravana softly asks.
Ravana is looking at Ben with puppy eyes. Ben looks at her and sits on the bed signing. The bedsheets are okay because of their height. Ravana sits beside him.
“I am sorry, Ben.” Ravana apologizes.
Ben signs and looks at her. His eyes are still angry. But when he sees Ravana looking at him with sad eyes his eyes turn sad too. He looks down.
“I am not mad at you... It's just…” Ben hesitates.
“It’s what?”
“The water is dirty.”
“I know.”
“Your feet will stink.”
“I will wash it properly.”
“I just don't know what you want from me. You have everything a person can wish for! Why are you bothering yourself with me?” Ben signs and softly says.
“Ben?”
“You knew me before you met that day at the restaurant, right? Have you been following me? What have I done?”
“Yes. No. Nothing.”
“What?” Ben looks at Ravana being puzzled.
“I knew you... I didn’t follow you... You haven’t done anything…” Ravana explains.
“I saw you a few times here when I came to meet Mr. John so I recognized you that day. It wasn’t intentional.” Ravana stops for a bit and then adds again.
Ben starts to feel embarrassed. He thinks he overestimated himself. Why would a woman like Ravana follow him! Ben doesn’t say anything. They both sit there awkwardly for a few minutes.
