Mrs. Tara Spec of came out of room while watching the clock. Her eyebrows twitched she taught

" WHY WAS CASSANDRA LATE...? "

She felt sorry as well as sad for her daughter-in-law. Meanwhile Charmcaster came out of her room and came near her mother she needs to clear her doubt immediately but don't know how to ask.

Mrs. Tara know something was running into her daughter's weird and clumsy mind so she asked " what...? " coldly.

Charmcaster " Mom... .. Was my brother angry yesterday.....? "

Mrs. Tara looked confused and panicking but controlling it she asked " Why...... Why are you asking.....? "

Charmcaster " It's not like that mom....... My sister-in-law didn't come downstairs till now "

Mrs. Tara didn't get what she is saying "so....."

Charmcaster " Mom.... I was doubting over this "

Mrs. Tara became irritated with her words " Don't confuse me charmy...... what........what is your doubt..? "

Charmcaster " I was doubting that........ My sister-in-law was suffering from fever "

Mrs. Tara didn't know what to say to his daughter but she was hell angry with his son because of him she is standing in such a position. She facepalmed herself on her mind. She understood what Charmcaster was saying........

PAST ONE:-

It was happening 2 months after marriage

Joel came downstairs in his office attire for office. Cassandra, Mrs. Tara and Charmcaster was waiting for him in the hall.

Mrs. Tara " you came..! We were waiting for you.. I need to ask you something "

Joel " Mom can we talk later I have an important meeting now. "

Charmcaster " Good morning bro... . Mom, me too bad sister-in-law were going to shopping that's what mom need to talk "

Joel " Cassandra... Take this card and buy whatever you want " he handed her his card.

Cassandra " No.... No..... I don't........don't...... need it I have my card "

Joel " Did I asked you the permission I'm ordering you take it "

Mrs. Tara " Don't talk to her like this....."

Cassandra " I really don't nee...."

Before she complete her words he gave a hard slap she didn't expect that she stumbled and fall down on the floor.

Joel " Think before you talk..... Hereafter I must not hear the word NO from your mouth understood....! Come have your breakfast and go with mom and Charm "

She didn't get up. Joel lifted her from the floor..... She fainted...

Mrs. Tara " Take off your hands from her you get out of my house. You always hurt her... You know only to hurt her.... Now get the hell out of here "

Ignoring his mother he lifted her in bridal style and placed her on the couch. He made a call to his personal doctor. He came after 10 minutes.

He made a check on her.

Doctor " Sir Mrs. Spec is suffering from fever "

Mrs. Tara " What how can that possible just now she is alright then how... "

Doctor " No madam....., Her temperature is 84 degrees she is in high fever. I think she got fever in shock....."

Mrs. Tara glared at her son. He didn't affect by it and he was standing there emotionless.

Doctor " I'll inject her some meds to decrease the temperature. After she wake up give her some rice porridge don't forget to give her tablets "

Mrs. Tara " give her some Onitments for her cheeks. "

Doctor " Give her hot compression and apply this ointment swell will decrease if she say it stinks apply this too "

Joel silently asking everything carefully and paid and sent him.......

PAST TWO:-

It was happening 3 years after marriage

Joel came to house for lunch from office. Cassandra was serving food for him

Joel " Did you had your lunch "

Cassandra didn't eat because she was in fasting for last 2 days she can only eat at night that too milk and some fruits she didn't say anything but nodded her head in yes

Joel " Did mom and Charm ate........? "

Cassandra " they didn't eat mom we...... "

"PLARRRRRRRR*

She didn't complete her words a big slap landed on her cheeks and he throwed the plate and went out of the house after washing his hands.

Tears streamed down from her eyes. She packed some foods and gave to driver to deliver it to Joel in office.

She can't walk to her room afterall she's in her fasting so she slept on the couch in the hall. After sometime Mrs. Tara came and surprised to see her daughter-in-law who is sleeping in the hall. She patted her head. She sensed her head is burning hot she immediately called their family doctor and she made a call to Joel to come to home immediately.

Doctor came checked her and left after giving her meds. Joel came to home after doctor left and Charmcaster also came from college.

Joel " Mom I saw the doctor's car why did he came...? "

Mrs. Tara looked at her son and dragged him to his room

Mrs. Tara " What did you do to my daughter-in-law "

Joel " I didn't do anything I punished her for what she did.... "

Mrs. Tara " What did she do....? "

Joel " Ahhhh she ate lunch but she didn't ask you to eat what is the work she is doing in this house other than taking care of you always eating and sleeping and talking nonsense with her family...... Such a useless bit..... "

Mrs. Tara slapped her son she is slapping continuously......

Charmcaster " Mom please don't beat brother..... Stop it"

Joel " Leave it Charmy...... Mom only cares about her daughter-in-law "

Mrs. Tara " Yeah I only care about her because you're a monster you said she ate who told you......who told you she ate you stupid son of me....! She is in fasting for last 3 days I went to lunch party so I didn't ate you sister Charmcaster has went to college so she didn't eat here but that foodie girl ate at her canteen without knowing anything how can you accuse my daughter-in-law........ "

Joel looked at the pale figure on the bed and lowered her head in guilt...

" Charm don't utter nonsense about your brother..... You know what he'll do when he hear this " Mrs. Tara said in a warning tone.

" Yeah.... Yeah... " she rolled her eyes.

While they were speaking Cassandra came downstairs.

" Mom.....! Sister-in-law came " said Charmcaster in a excited tone.

Cassandra came with wet hairs. Her eyes were shining and sparkling. Her cheeks were glowing red due to shy. Mrs. Tara know what was going on she was very happy for her.

" Oh my god sister-in-law your looking so fresh and stunning. Did my brother gave anything .... I thought you were sleeping this much time because of fever...... But luckily not what I thought " said Charmcaster

" Charmy I was sleeping for sometime it's not what you think.. " Cassandra said in embarrassment.

Her blushed cheeks told many untold stories. Mrs. Tara felt unspeakable happiness in her heart.

" Sister-in-law.... What you said you slept for sometimes..... hehehe...... Its not sometime it's long time now see the time it's half past eleven...... " Charmcaster teased her.

" You silly girl...... Shut your mouth.... Is there any law to get up early in the morning she can wake whenever she want " Mrs. Tara

" Mom I'm your daughter not her..... "Charmcaster whined like a child.

Ignoring her daughter Mrs. Tara held Cassandra's hand and escorted her to the kitchen and gave her two cups of coffee and said " Sandra give one to Joel and you can have one no need to come down join him for coffee."

Cassandra saw his mother-in-law in a embarrassment and said " No need mom I'll have my coffee here..... I'll come after giving it to him "

Mrs. Tara shook her head in negative and said in a stern tone " Do what I said.... accompany him for coffee thats it "

" Mom I think she is scared of brother and uncomfortable around him. By the way Sister-in-law what happened to your voice your sweet voice changed into hoarse voice then I heard some noices in your room...... Why.....? " asked Charmcaster

Cassandra began to cough vigorously. Mrs. Tara patted Cassandra's head.

" Charmcaster don't make me angry or I'll immediately send you to hostel..... What you say... " asked in a warning tone.

" No.... No.... No mom.....! sister-in-law you please go to your room " she was really scared of hostel.

Cassandra lowered her head didn't dare to look into anyone's eyes. She know her mother-in-law know what happened yesterday. A blush crept on her cheeks. When she reached staircase she began to run towards her room like a little deer which is escaped from the hunter. Mrs. Tara smiled and signed in relief that her son's life will be hereafter goes in a right path.

" Charmy...... come lets have our breakfast. Today you remember right we need to go to orphanage. " said Mrs. Tara.

" Mom is this you or someone replaced you into another......" Charmcaster asked in a excited tone

" Oh..... You forget your mom now.. " asked Mrs. Tara.

" Everyday you'll eat after brother but what happened today that's why I asked you... "

Mrs. Tara laughed out loud and said " Today your brother will not come out of the room...... I think they will tell our maid to bring breakfast to their room........ and also lunch too "

Mrs. Tara started to eat her boiled eggs and orange juice. Charmcaster also started to eat her noodles and omelet.

Mrs. Tara instinct came true. Joel made a call to Mrs. Tara.

Joel " Mom I was having severe headache... "

Mrs. Tara " Ohhh......... head ache...... "

Joel " And Cassandra is also having fever..... "

A figure of Cassandra with wet hair and blushed cheeks who ran like bunny came infront of her eyes she smiled inwardly.

" Oh is it...... Can I call the doctor my dear " asked Mrs. Tara teasingly.

" No.... No..... No need mom..... She took her tablet if she takes rest she will be fine " he said hurriedly.

" OK...... Joel ! Be with her and take care of her " Mrs. Tara said and smirked.

" Yeah mom! I'll do what you said...! Mom... Can you please send our breakfast to our room and lunch too....!

" Sure my boy..... I'll send it through Mrs. Blessy you don't worry .......do you need anything ..... "

" No mom...... If I need anything I'll call you..... "

Mrs. Tara ended the call and saw Charmcaster....... She want to laugh hard seeing her daughter's reaction.

" Mom..... something is happening in our house but I didn't get it " Charmcaster said in a confusion.

" whatever happens..... It just happens to be good " Mrs. Tara was overwhelmed.

Mrs. Tara need her grandchildren to place his/her feet in her house. She was happy that symptoms of her desire has been started...... Thinking about the this she thanked to God mentally.....
