♥ Brendan ♥ I stood across the street from the bakery for a full minute before I went in. The sign looked brighter than it used to. New lettering. Fresh paint. People moved in and out with paper bags and takeaway cups, leaving trails of sugar and coffee in their wake. It wasn’t the same little shop Megan had once dreamed about. It was bigger now.
