POV: Marco --- Dmitri's surrender changed everything. Antonio's men took him to a secure location – not a prison, exactly, but not a hotel either. Somewhere between. He'd given up without a fight, which meant either he was telling the truth about being tired, or he was playing a longer game. I didn't trust him. Neither did Antonio. But Sasha... She'd read her mother's letter three times. Each time, her face softened a little more. Each time, something in her eyes shifted. "Dmitri kept this letter for years," she said.
