"No way! Marcus Jackson is claiming his price already? It hasn't even been a day since he won the bet and already he's squandering his hard earned money on you?" Jealousy overwhelmed Mandy. With this piece, Tanya would definitely surpass her in the department of beauty and easily claim her crown as the Jefferson's most beautiful grand-daughter. How could this have happened? Does this mean Tanya would be this advantageous if she married that Marcus Jackson? No, it shouldn't happen then, Mandy thought. "You're not going to accept it will you? That man hasn't brought the contract yet, how degrading." Mandy continued her onslaught. "Try it on, try it on." "Yes, Tanya this necklace would look great on you."  "I wish I had a man who would love me enough to buy me a $20 million dollar necklace." Other colleagues of Tanya buttered her, with hopes of becoming her friend. With all eyes on her, she was forced to put it on. Tanya was innerdly elated, if she hadn't been in the office, she wouldn't have been this composed. She would have shrieked and jumped for joy. But the thought of Marcus Jackson being the one who bought her the jewelry didn't seat well with her.  How could Marcus have bought it for her? How did he know that she loved this piece? Could her best friend have told on her? Her beauty was dazzling the moment she wore the necklace. All the girls beamed with admiration for her. "You look so dead gorgeous girl, oh my god!" The smile on Tanya's face made her beauty outshine all of the women present.    Outside the city. At a remote venue outside the city hills, a couple of cars parked over. A young man stood against his own car waiting. A group of men came out the car to confront the other party. Ahead of the others, was a man in his thirties, short in height but very intimidating. "Seun! Where the hell have you been, god damnit!" The leader of the group called out, walking up towards him. "Tobias sir!" The man approached. "The job was a bust, police surrounded the entire mall, roadblocks all over town, had to escape the city." "What the f**k happened?" Tobias halted, his hands behind his back while his bodyguards stopped behind him. "I have no idea, some motherfuckers started shooting at us. It was a clean job, we had gotten the money but suddenly two shots rang out. Next thing I saw Deon fall dead. Hugo returned fire and he fell and died shortly thereafter." "What?!" "It happened so quick. The shots attracted the police nearby, had to run for it. Never really-" "Did you say two shots? Who's the shooter? Who dared kill my motherfucken men?" Tobias interrupted. "I have no idea boss, but I suspect that motherfucker who volunteered to take Deon to the manager's office. Now that I think about it, it's quiet possible. It was weird how he volunteered to do that when he was no staff member. So how did he know the manager? I believe his plan was to play hero." "Motherfucker!" Tobias clasped his fists. "I'm going to kill that motherfucker. You remember his face right?" "Not exactly boss, but I remember the bitches he was with pretty well. They was eye candy. A job for another day!" He said remembering. "Stop day dreaming!" Tobias shouted, rubbing his hand through his short hair. "Can you identify them, do you know where they live?" "I seen them boss, I can identify them easy, but I gots no idea where they bunk at?" "f**k! Two shots." Tobias face darkened, his eyes calculating past his long nose. "Who could have such skills and shooting ability?" "No idea boss, but here's the money I got." Seun threw a bag full of money to the ground.  Tobias glared at the bag disdainfully. "Take the damn money, do I look like I need any of it? On second thought, use it to pay the hoodlums. Get information on those two women at any cost. I want them to reveal to me who that bastard who shot my men is. I'll put a bullet through his skull myself."   "They will know never to mess with the Dragonian gang…"
