Alex's POV
It wasn't even 7 and an excited Emily ran into my room trying to wake me up.
"Waakeeee uppphhh" she kept on whining. I just entertained it for a while pretending to be asleep. But she decided to up the game a little and jumped on me and that normally bought out a 'umph' from me and she giggled in victory.
"Uh huh" I shake my head and put her on the bed and start tickling her.
"Hehe... Sttt....pp... Ha... Stooo... He... Stoppp" she kept squirming in my hold. I finally let go and asked.
"So let's go see what Santa has brought for you this year." Immediately her smile widens even more and I have no clue if that's possible but it does. And starts to nod her head vigorously.
"Yes yes yes" she keeps chanting.
"Come on, go wake dad up. I will be down in a minute. Okay?
